Head, Partnerships & Fundraising

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Lead the implementation of Tayaba’s fundraising strategy with KPIs
2. Prospect for, secure, and cultivate strong partnerships with institutional, philanthropic, private, and public sector partners.
3. Oversee and prepare proposals, grant submissions, budgets, log frames, evaluations, and reports in coordination with relevant staff.
4. Network and liaise with current and potential donors and partners – throughout the implementation of programs; demonstrate understanding of sustainability reporting, sustainable development, and innovation.
5. Support the CEO/Director with maintaining solid relations with key stakeholders and represent Tayaba Organisation with external stakeholders upon request.
6. Support the Accountability & Transparency processes and help strengthen Tayaba’s systems and evidence base to showcase its impact and added value to donors.
7. Support cross-team learning on donor relationship management and fundraising needs to grow the organization’s fundraising culture and effectiveness.
8. Work with communication teams to develop other donor materials such as case studies, annual reports, updates, and support teams to use these with donors.
9. Perform other relevant duties as and when required.

REQUIREMENTS & PREFERRED SKILLS

• Bachelors / Masters or experience in international development, humanitarian
  studies, business management, or other sector-specific technical areas.
• 3-5 years of experience in partnership building with a passion for sustainable
  development and fundraising.
• Proven track record in fundraising and multiyear partnerships, especially within
  governmental and intergovernmental organizations and foundations.
• Excellence in building and managing relationship; be a strong networker.
• An experienced presenter and highly persuasive with an ability to inspire.
• The ideal candidate is ambitious and has excellent social skills, friendly and easy-to-
  approach working style. A sense of humor is a must.
• Knowledge of and love for Blockchain-based technologies (NFT/Defi) is a huge plus!
