The founders of Tayaba Organisation, Bilal Bin Saqib and Momin Saqib received the Points of Light Award from the British Prime Minister – Boris Johnson for their contributions within ‘Tayaba Organisation’, for ease in access to water in Pakistan and ‘One Million Meals’ initiative during COVID-19 outbreak.
Nida Yousaf Sheikh, as the CEO of Tayaba, had the honor of becoming the first Pakistani social innovator ever to win the Young Leader Award in “One Young World’s LEAD 2030 Challenge” for SDG 6. One Young World’s Lead 2030 Challenge is a globally renowned initiative and highly competitive recognition with less than a 1% acceptance rate, with a mission to accelerate green solutions aligning with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Nida received the Vice Chancellor’s Alumni Achievement Award 2023 from her Alma Mater, LUMS, acknowledging her accomplishments in sustainability and social transformation, especially Tayaba’s substantial impact on improving millions of lives.
Tayaba Organisation’s innovative initiative was acknowledged and appreciated by the Ministry of Water Resources Government of Pakistan.
